ALUMINIUM EXTRUSION

Aluminium 20 series profile for construction (6mm T-Slot)
– Always 20mm on one dimension, remaining dimensions in 20mm intervals
e.g.
– 20mm x 20mm = 20 series 2020 profile
– 20mm x 40mm = 20 series 2040 profile
– 20mm x 60mm = 20 series 2060 profile
– 20mm x 80mm = 20 series 2080 profile

Has a standard shaped 6mm T-SLOT longitudal groove on each face designed to accept standised shaped fixing components (Bolts, Nuts)

T-SLot vs V-Slot:
– Both have the same external dimensions e.g. 2020 = 20x20mm
– Both have the same 6mm Slot profile so use the same nuts/ T-Bolts
– TSlot has 5mm center hole and can be tapped to M6
– VSlot has 4.2mm center hole and can be tapped to M5 or M6 (M6 requires drilling out before tapping)
– VSlot has an approximately 45 degree bevelled slot edge on designed specifically to work with Open Builds type pully wheels for motion solutions
